cardboard cd case screen printing take one: george wintson's solo harmonica album

my first screen printing job: album cover and inside artwork for george winston's solo harmonica album. 

(why couldn't i have chosen a t-shirt, poster or anything else for my first project!)

the back of the case/track titles that were in a small font didn't expose well, so in round two i'll be working to fix that. during the first run i printed 146

we're off to spend nearly a month in county sligo with traditional american/irish harmonica player rick epping! george winston, american pianist and composer, who has recorded rick's extensive repertoire for the past eight years is sending us to continue the documentation at rick's home in ballymote. check back for photos,video clips and stories of our experience recording rick, improving his home recording studio, and of course the occasional trip down to the pub for a round of guinness and irish trad music!


*rick also plays the irish concertina and banjo (sometimes playing banjo or concertina simultaneously with harmonica). he has also been on the design team at hohner for years and invented the acclaimed hohner xb-40 harmonica(where all 20 notes can be bent).
